The Contact Adjusting Tool is a long
"L" shaped tool for bending the contact blades such that a
small gap of about 1/16th of an inch exists. The tool can be used on
either end to adjust the contact, but typically it is the "L"
shaped end that gets used the most. The bottom pictures show the
typical tools used when adjusting contacts such as the Contact Adjusting
Tool and Contact "Burnishing" Files.
