In the picture below, you will notice below that I am pointing to the very tip of the ball
plunger. This particular plunger rod has a white tip although some may be
brown or black. Always watch out when you raise the playfield on older games that you first pull
the plunger rod back before actually raising the playfield. If you
don't, you can tear the rubber tip off of the plunger when the playfield catches on it as it
is raised.
