I got my Soccer game as part of a trade with my pinhead buddy Ryan for his Soccer game. I really liked the Spirit of 76 but I also like Soccer and I didn't own a reverse-wedgehead game so thought I'd trade it for Ryan's game. Soccer is a Williams single player EM game made in March of 1964. There were 2,850 of these games made and the game features 2 flippers, 4 pop bumpers, 1 passive bumper, 2 slingshots, 2 kick-out holes, 6 targets, 1 ball kicker, and a cool backglass animation of a player kicking soccer balls. The game was designed by Norm Clark.

When Ryan got this game his backglass had lots of flaking artwork. He had the backglass scanned and a new "translite" created which was sandwiched between two thin pieces of glass which became the new backglass. Most people that view the game have no idea that they are looking at a translite instead of the original backglass. The colors don't quite have the same contrast as the original backglass, but unless you saw another original backglass next to it you wouldn't know it was a little darker. It looks a lot better than the flaking artwork and is still a nice translite.
